SDD400RS/BTAM – FLICKER FREE DIMMER ( WHEN USED WITH SFI DOWN LIGHTS )
The SDD400RSBTAM dimmer must be matched with one of three types of SFI downlight products.
Combined with the SAL SFI downlights Coolum PLUS RS, Ecogem or Unifit series, the new SFI dimmer eliminates nuisance ripple induced flicker between 750-1050Hz once and for all, typically found in QLD and NSW regions.
There are up to 14 different styles and configurations of SFI to choose from to meet your project needs.

This new range of COOLUM PLUS RS downlights are unblike any other downlight and work exclusively with PIXIE SDD400RSBATM dimmers for:
- 100% Flicker free
- Colour tunable from 3000k to 6500k from the dimmer and from the PIXIE Apps
- Dim to 1% light output – no flicker
- Track the time of day and produce the right light colour accordingly, automatically!
- High colour rendering at CRI >90

Multiway Capable
Yes using either of the options for multiway control its possible to control the SDD400SFI in 2 way and intermediate control scenarios using PIXIE devices.
This provide multiway DIMMING too – not just multiway switching!
- Use PIXIE SMF/BTAS – needs Neutral and Active – Up to 8 WAY CONTROL
- Use PIXIE S2W/BTAS – needs Active and Switch wire in parallel (use your existing straps!) – Up to 3 way | Master (SDD400SFI) + Intermediate switch (S2W/BTAS) + End Switch (S2W/BTAS)

WHICH LIGHTS DOES THIS WORK WITH?
There are 3 types of down lights which the SDD400SFI dimmer is compatible with.
There are up to 14 different styles available with the UNIFIT and ECOGEM – the basic models are listed in detail below and the table also shows the CRI >80 versions – Each of those versions also comes in a CRI> 90 version also.

Hi, the HUMAN CENTRIC LIGHTING feature looks fantastic.
I notice the downlight S9068TW35WH/RS goes down to 3000k & the LED strip FLBP24V2M/CCT/BTAM-1 down to 2700k
Three questions:
1. How does the Auto HCL feature behave if both the downdown lights and LED strips are on, does it limit all lights to 3000k in the evening, or do the strips continue down to 2700k?
2. If all lights on are limited down to 3000k, does the app allow for the HCL configuration to have down lights off and only use LED strips to continue down to 2700k
3. Is there a Dali2 Downlight that does go down to 2700k (~90mm hole size) you’d recommend to use with the Auto HCL & the Pixie to Dali interface? (Keeping in mind trying to stick near the really nice pricing of the S9068TW35WH/RS)
You select if you would like the AUTO HCL mode on per dimmer and per LED stirp kit.
The HCL feature will take the light colour down to it extent, depending on the module being used.
Otherwise you can simply create a scene and schedule it to a specific intensity and colour.
PIXIE DALI interface does not do DALI TYPE8, it is a broadcast controller.
If there is a DALI2 downlight which colour shifts as it dims without DALI TYPE8 we are not aware of it.
